Anthony "Bo" Douglas Doughty

Anthony “ Bo” Douglas Doughty, 61 of Valley View, Texas passed away at his home with family on December 5, 2025. He was born on June 9, 1964 in Denton, Texas to Douglas Edward Doughty and Odelia (Dugger)Doughty. Anthony graduated from Valley View High School in 1982 and worked for C & G Electric for 15+ years. He was also a member of the Valley View State football team in 1980. He enjoyed deer hunting, trips to the Casino and spending time with his family.
Anthony is survived by his daughter, Alyssa Danielle Doughty of Gainesville, Texas; mother, Odelia Doughty of Valley View, Texas; siblings, James Doughty and wife, Jodi of Gainesville, Texas and Tracey Lance and husband, Glenn of Valley View, Texas; nieces and nephews, Matthew and Chelsey Lance, Jeremy Lance, Kenny and Kimberly Osborn, Caitlyn Doughty and Jonathan Doughty; and other great nieces and nephews.
Anthony was preceded in death by his father, Douglas Doughty; grandparents, Joe and Vernie Doughty and Loys and Lorean Dugger.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 8, 2025 at 2:00pm at Meador Funeral Home, 1204 E. California Street, Gainesville. Visitation will be on Sunday, December 7, 2025 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Meador Funeral Home. Interment at Valley View Cemetery, Valley View, Texas.

Tracey, I am so sorry to hear about Bo but thank God he is no longer in pain. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
It is with much sadness we learned of Bo’s passing. We’ve known Bo since he was a child. Our daughter and Bo were classmates. We are keeping all of Bo’s loved ones in our prayers that God will bless them with his divine healing comfort. We will miss him and never forget him.
My friend and brother in Christ, I look forward like I told ya I will see you on the other side. We’ve been the best of friends in grade school through high school. Like most of us we drift away from each other. But I’m so glad we reconnected before it was too late. Love ya Brother! And prayers for your family ??
I will forever hold tight to the memories I still have of us growing up together, running the creeks in Marysville out at Grandma and Grandpa Doughty’s place. I will love you for eternity cousin. Till we meet again ?
