She was preceded in death by her siblings: Delores Worthington, Oggie Cecil and Patricia Reece. She is survived by her sister, Marvis Doughty. Bonnie worked at the Perrin Air Force Base in TX. She was a server in the dining hall. This is where she met her husband Carl Lynn Beaird. Carl and Bonnie were married on November 6th, 1967 in Colbert, OK. Carl and Bonnie were married for 58 years. Bonnie is survived by her husband, Carl Beaird. Carl and Bonnie raised four children together: Carl Kemp, Jackie Kemp (Debbie Kemp), Laura McLaren and Michel Beaird (Amanda Beaird). She is survived by her children and their spouses. She was a fierce Mama Bear when it came to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She wanted nothing but the best for them and would make sure they were always treated fairly even if that meant talking to school principals very firmly. She is survived by her grandchildren: Callie Beaird-Campbell (Zac Campbell), Michel Beaird (Jessica Beaird), Zachary Crosskno, Victora McLaren, Kyle Bearid, Stuart Crosskno (Sydney Crosskno), Alexandra Crosskno and Gilbert Palmer. She was also survived by her great-grandchildren: Natalie (“Ren”) Bearid-Wilson, Imriel Beaird-Wilson and Scarlett Crosskno. Bonnie was preceded in death by her great granddaughter, Avery Crosskno. During this time, she went to college at University of Maine at Presque Isle. In 1983 she received a Bachelor’s in Geo-Ecology. Her family shared her delight of her obtaining her college degree even though it meant having to calculate the mol of files. Over the years she worked in sales, was a Librarian, was a substitute teacher and worked for the Department of Hunman Services as a Social Woker. She retired from the State after 11 years in Blytheville, AR. Bonnie loved animals, except for geckos that scared the pants off of her. Cats were her favorite. She had a cat named Percy with long black hair that was always giving her kisses. She was a quilter and enjoyed crocheting. Her grandchildren still have the quilts she made for them. She loved being outdoors and the family has fond memories of their camping trips. She was said to have a quick wit and her smile would light up a room. Mrs. Bonnie Beaird will be laid to rest at 11:00 AM on February 7th, 2026 at Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Sandusky, TX.
