David Loyd Mozingo

David Loyd Mozingo, 94 of Gainesville, Texas passed away on September 21, 2021. He was born on February 9, 1927 in Walnut Bent, Texas to Charles Mozingo and Sylvia Holder. He Joined the US Army and also worked oilfield service and exploration for his career. David is survived by his sons, Trent Mozingo and wife, DeAnn of Howe, Texas and Brent Mozingo and wife, Colleen of Cedar Park, Texas; daughter, Dava Brown of Saint Jo, Texas, 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wives, Norma Jean Mozingo and Ethel “Marie” Mozingo; parents, Charles and Sylvia Mozingo; daughter, Connie Welch and son-in-law, Bob Brown. Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021 at 3:00 pm at Meador Funeral Home in Gainesville, Texas with Brother Hollis Parsons officiating followed by interment at New Resthaven Cemetery.
