Forrest C. Martin

Forrest C. Martin, 75 of Sadler, Texas passed away peacefully at his home on July 25, 2025. He was born on December 31, 1949 in Annville, Pennsylvania to Levi and Frances Martin. Forrest loved riding his mules and enjoyed spending time with his dogs and cats and working with cattle. He was a farrier by trade and owned a saddle and tack repair business. Forrest is survived by his wife, Bonnie Martin of Sadler, Texas; son, Shaun Martin of Red Lion, Pennsylvania; stepdaughter, Christin Umsted of Southmayd, Texas; brothers, John Martin, Carroll Martin and Aaron Martin all of Annville, Pennsylvania. Forrest was a US Army Veteran who served in the National Guard of Pennsylvania for 13 years as a Sergeant E-5 with tank commander and military police assignments. He was preceded in death by parents, Levi and Frances Martin. The family would like to especially thank the Hospice Plus team and Cornerstone Caregiving in Sherman for their care, love, and support.
