Judy Wadene Chisum

Judy Wadene Chisum, 76, of Whitesboro, Texas, was called to her eternal home on Friday, December 12, 2025.
Judy was born on June 18, 1949 in Bakersfield, California, to Wade and Sue (Shacklett) McMillin. She graduated from Denison High School and attended Cosmetology School. Judy worked for Texas Instruments for over 30 years. On January 28, 1972 she married Bill Chisum and together they raised a son and two daughters. Judy enjoyed fishing, dogs, working on puzzles, sports and casinos. She adored the time spent with her family, especially the grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Chisum of Whitesboro; son, Matt Chisum of Whitesboro; daughter, Stacy Chisum of Whitesboro, daughter, Kristie Dickson and husband, Jeff of Whitesboro; grandchildren, Haleigh, Riley, and Jamie, great-grandchildren, Landrie, Kyson, Corey, and Camryn, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Wade and Sue McMillin, sister, Joann Weaver, and brothers, Sammy McMillin, Larry McMillin, and Dale McMillin.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in honor of Judy to either the SPCA or a local animal shelter of your choice.
A memorial gathering in her honor will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro.

Judy, was a very nice lady whom I enjoyed visiting with over the years. I am so sorry for the family’s loss, I will miss her smile greatly.
