Husband and best friend of 15 years, Jason Lynn King, their children Twins 19 a Daughter Wrynn Amelia King and Son Ioan Evert King. Katie and Jason were married in Start, Louisiana on November 27th2014.

Katie loved nature,animals, flowers, growingvegetables.Her dogs5 of,her horse and herchickens. Sheloved photography and videoing and often used the above as her subjects, Katie had anawesomeartistic eye,
Katie loved history world and American, devoured books and was editor for herMeMe’s21authored books.
Katie played 5 musical instruments flute,piccolo,bassoon,oboeand piano.She could play almostpieceafterhearing itonlyonce.
SheattendedHigh School in Lewisville, Texas and graduated in 1995.She spoke fluent German and Russian and had5-yearLatin basestudy. She interviewed duringherjunioryear ofhigh schoolwiththe FBI to fill aninterpreterposition after graduation. She decidedinstead to study at the University of North Texas for 5semesters. After leaving to enter the trades industry in plumbing then lumber industry, shebecamea skip tracer andbackgroundcheckspecialistand CarSalesperson. Leaving all jobs behind 15 yearsagoshe became “KingHouseholdManager” and homeschooled Wrynn and Ioan until their graduation in 2024.
Katiefought along, brave2-yearbattle with seizure disorder. Sheclung to hope to the very end that doctors would care enough to find the cause.
Her favorite place on earth was home with Jason,Wrynnand Ioan. Theyliterally becameher entire world.

Katie’s Celebration ofLifewill be held on Saturday Nov 29that 1:30pm.Under the direction ofPastorChad Stephenson at Waters Edge Church in Sanger, Texas.

Holly’s Garden and Florist in Denton, Texas will be making deliveries at the church on Sat Nov 29thbetween 10and ifyou needan option.




Jason, Wrynn, Ioan, and Family – My heart is heavy for you all. Please know that I am lifting you all up in prayer. Katie always made me smile when talking to her and her love for you all shined so bright. Hold those memories close. I wish I could be there to give you all a hug. Sending love, prayers, and hugs.
Sherri and family, I have no words to convey the feelings in my heart, and can only imagine yours. Katie was indeed an amazing and unique lady who will not be forgotten by any who knew her. You know I am here for you and will be whenever you need me.
I love you so, and pray for comfort and peace as you and the family begin the new life without your beloved Katie-Did! God bless you and hold you in his palm.
So sorry for your loss! I did not know Katie, only through her Uncle David Wims whom I worked with. Again, I am so sorry!
My sincere sympathy to Katie’s family, including my good friend, David Wims, who shared with me the sudden loss of his dear niece. David & Katie’s family have been in my every prayer since then.
