Pamela Jean Comer, 69 of Gainesville, Texas passed away on May 14, 2025. She was born in Gainesville, Texas to Gus Comer and Georgia (Cox) Comer on November 9, 1955. Pam worked most of her career as a Detention Officer for Fannin County and also had been a florist all her life. Pam is survived by numerous cousins, Kathy Gray, Tenise Blackshear, Elisa Gray, Dell Ray Cox, Laurie Allen, Mallory Beam, Markie Beam, Marcus Beam and Chase Beam. Her church family and friends she considered family She was preceded in death by her parents, Gus & Georgia Comer and brother, Michael Ray Comer.

  4. Mary and I live next door to Pam and have for 30 plus years. Everyone on our block knew Pam and watched over her. She was so sweet. I first met Pam when she was working at Beals Department store in Gainesville. Purchased shoes from her. Over time we became good friends. Pam always attended church and loved the Lord. Her brother lived with her prior to his passing and he helped my wife plant trees and plants around the house. He was a kind man and we became good friends. Pam loved her Dogs and had several over her life. Pam loved to travel and at least once a year take off with her best friend and go wherever. God bless you Pam you will be missed.

  5. Pam and I have been good friends for a long time. We worked together for 10 years at Bealls. We continued to be good friends even after we both quit. She’s my little buddy, I will miss her very much. We were both just talking, and saying if anything happened to one or the other we knew where we were going, to Heaven. You beat me there. See you when it’s my turn. Love you Miss Pam.
