Tommy Ray Renfroe, 70, of Gainesville, Texas, passed away on August 29, 2019, at his residence with his family by his side. The family will schedule a memorial service at a later date. Tommy was born on June 2, 1949, in Whitesboro, Texas, to James and Carmen Renfroe. He worked for Weber Aircraft for many years and he was also a truck driver. Tommy loved all of his family very much especially his children and grandchildren. He was a member of the St. Jo Riding Club for many years. Tommy also enjoyed watching western shows on TV. Tommy is survived by his daughters, Tiffany and husband Larry Ingles of Gordonville; Kristy and husband Kyle Austin of Mansfield; sons Cory Renfroe of Gordonville and Justin Renfroe of Gainesville. Grandchildren, Kord and Kelby Austin of Mansfield; Makenzie and Dallas Renfroe, Faith and Logan Ingles of Gordonville. Hailey and Aubrey Renfroe of Dallas; brother Larry Renfroe of Daingerfield, Texas; and Sleepy Renfroe of Bandera, Texas; sister Wanda Phelps of Whitesboro, Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Renfroe; Parents James and Carmen Renfroe; three sisters, Brenda, Peggy and Dollie; three brothers Donnie, Michael and Bruce Renfroe.

    Words can not express how I’m going to miss you. You were a great father husband and friend. I always enjoyed your laughing and jokes. But God knew best sleep on Daddy until we meet again in heaven. And oh by the way you get to ride one of the most beautiful horses in heaven I heard they can fly!!       Tommy, I loved all the Renfroe’s we use to hang out all the time. I met Sleepy first then Came Michael next came you Tommy you guys were the best, we would hang out at hide away and dance, drink and talk about riding and racing and which one Sleepy are Michael was going to take me away from my boyfriend at the time was Tommy Fowler. We both love you guy’s very much. Happy Trails Tommy keep riding!
