Willie Ray Tredemeyer

Willie Ray Tredemeyer, 73, of Gordonville, Texas was called to his eternal home on Saturday, December 20, 2025. Willie was born on October 4, 1952 in Ft. Worth, Texas to August and Yvonne Tredemeyer. The family then moved to Grand Prairie where he graduated high school before joining the United States Navy. On April 23, 1999 he married Karen Sage in Las Vegas, Nevada. He worked for over 30 years as a fire fighter and paramedic for Grapevine Fire Department. Willie started his career with the City of Grand Prairie Volunteer fire service. He enjoyed spending time with his sons and grandchildren, attending church and fellowships. watching football, fishing, riding on his tractor, and driving the fire truck. He is survived by his wife, Karen Tredemeyer of Gordonville; son, Matt Tredemeyer of Grand Prairie; son, Dr. Sam Tredemeyer of Indiana; stepson, Randy Yawn of Eugene, Oregon; grandchildren, Sam Elkins, Lena Tredemeyer, Carson Tredemeyer, Heston Tredemeyer, Aslyn Tredemeyer, Tanner Yawn, and brother, Jack Tredemeyer. Willie was preceded in death by his parents, August and Yvonne Tredemeyer. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 28,2025 at Legacy Point Baptist Church.
