The very kind and understanding employees of Whitesboro branch of Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Texoma are seeing most of us on one of the worst days of our lives. They are so very kind and gently help you through all the steps needed to care for not only your loved one but for you as well. I was very happy that I chose them to help me out through this difficult time. They are still helping eventho it has been a month today since we lost our precious loved one. We lost our dear mother in early October. We called TJM Texoma to help us through this difficult time. They were spot on every step of the way - they took care of mom like she was part of their family and they handled the entire process, making it easy for us in a difficult time. They answered all of our questions from the first consultation at their funeral home. In closing, if I were to describe our experience with TJM Texoma it would be they treated our family with true and sincere compassion, including following up to see if we were alright or needed anything.

The care and handling of my husband was amazing. He was treated with the upmost dignity. On the worse day of my life, the TJM Texoma’s team was compassionate, caring, helpful and gave me all the time I needed to say goodbye to the love of my life. During the “after” process, Russell walked me through evert step. If I needed a minute or two he graciously stepped aside. The entire staff was always available to answer any questions I might have. A wonderful group of folks who truly care about their clients and the departed family members in their care. Thank you - your staff made everything so much simpler.

My Dad recently went to be with Jesus in August, 2023. After a most unpleasant, deficient funeral home experience elsewhere in Gainesville after my mom passed away in 2018, it was critical that I find another option for my dad. He had even said to me, “Please don’t let my funeral be like that.” Rhonda was my first contact with Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Texoma in Gainesville, and she was friendly, understanding, and kind. She introduced me to Russell Carney, our funeral director who was kind, patient, accommodating, and professional. After Russel gathered the info he needed, he handled every detail with precision and professionalism. I cannot say enough about the relief I experienced. My dad’s funeral service was as hoped and planned and we were all very pleased. I know my dad would have been pleased as well, that it was organized, planned, and executed in a compassionate, humane manner. Russell, Jordan, Tommy, and Ryan managed the funeral service, the graveside service, and the lowering of the casket into the grave. Their professional, kind, and quiet mannerisms did not go unnoticed as they did not miss any detail to make the experience as smooth and stress free as possible.

Rhonda and Russell at the Gainesville home are a Godsend, both have went above and beyond to ensure great service for us in 2006, 2017, and 2 passings in 2022.
