Robert Phelps

September 2, 1956 -  December 6, 2010  WHITESBORO - Robert "Geno" Phelps went to meet his Lord on Monday, December 6, 2010. He passed away at the Presbyternain Hospital - WNJ in Sherman.He was born on Sept. 2, 1956 in Abilene, Texas. He was the adopted son of the late B.B. Phelps and Mary "Rags" Phelps. He was a graduate of Whitesboro High School and was of the Baptist Faith. Robert had numerous health problems but always had an upbeat attitude and was always willing to help others when able. His father preceded him in death. Survivors are his mother, Mary "Rags" Phelps of Whitesboro, an uncle, Joe Ray Phelps of Whitesboro, an aunt, Wanda Davis of Sherman, numerous cousins and friends. Contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity. Memorial Services will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Rev. Rick Carney and Rev. Mike Flanagan officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. prior to the service. Not flesh of my flesh, Or bone of my bone But still miraculously my own.
