John was born on March 29, 1957 in Sitka, Alaska to William Jackson and Roberta Jean (Hull) Underwood.
He is survived by daughter, Robin Harrison, son, Jeremy Underwood, brother, Tommy Underwood, sisters, Kathy Bratcher, Donna Dutton and aunt, Martha Railey.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Roberta Underwood.
Cremation arrangements are under the care of Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro.
