Mary Jo Thompson

Mary Jo Thompson, 93, of Dallas, Texas passed away on November 30, 2021. She was born on April 28, 1928, in Prairie Point, Texas to John Richardson and Lyndel (Penton) Richardson. Mary Jo attended the Church of the Nazarene and graduated from Era High School. She married Samuel W. Thompson Jr. in Rockwall on June 2, 1949. Visitation will be held Friday, December 3, 2021, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Meador Funeral Home, 1204 E. California Street, Gainesville, Texas. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 2:00 PM, Prairie Point Nazarene Church, officiated by Pastor Jack Smith and Pastor Rickie Kerr.
