William (Billy Don) Donald Wolf

William Donald (Billy Don) Wolf, 83, of Gainesville passed away peacefully on September 18, 2026, surrounded by his family.

Billy Don was born September 3, 1943, in Muenster, TX to Charles James & Mary Louise (Russell) Wolf. He attended school in Muenster. At 16 he would milk cows before and after school. He then went on to drive a milk truck for several years. Billy Don spent most of his life working in the oilfield, starting with Felderhoff Brothers and retiring from Quasar Energy.

He enjoyed camping with family & friends and traveling to Missouri to go hunting. In his later years, he enjoyed going to the Trails Inn for breakfast with the guys.

Billy Don was preceded in death by his parents, Charles & Mary Louise Wolf, brother Charles Wolf JR, & daughter Donna Denise Holley.

Billy Don is survived by his son Kevin Wolf & wife Paula of Woodbine, son-in-law Dearld Holley of Powderly, grandchildren Amber Martindale and husband Aaron of Lindsay, Katie Spradlin & husband Kameron of Powderly, Bryant Strickland & wife Becca of Woodbine, Dori Henderson & husband Cody of Woodbine, David Bell of Woodbine, great-grandchildren Peyton & Addyson Jones, Haiden & Lucas Martindale, Koston, Owen, Oliver, & Axel Strickland, Cash, Ford, & Emma Buckaloo, Madison Brown, Emilyn, Axton, & Scarlett Bell, brother Dwight Wolf, sisters Sandra Hennigan, Barbara (Hope) Fuller, Sherri Wolf-Price, and numerous nieces & nephews.

A visitation will be held Thursday, September 24, from 6pm-8pm at Turrentine Jackson Morrow Funeral Home in Gainesville 1204 E. California Street, Gainesville,Texas.
