Joyce Ann Parsons, 83 of Gainesville, Texas passed away on July 5, 2025. She was born in Gainesville, Texas on January 24, 1942 to Survie Muller and Loyce Lyons. Joyce married Charles Lee Parsons in June 1960. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Gainesville, Texas. Joyce was a Avon sales representative for over 20 years and did cosmetic consulting. Her favorite time was spending time with her friends and family.
Joyce is survived by her sons; Alan Parsons & wife, Denise; Gilbert Parsons; David Parsons & wife, Janet; daughter, Sheila Roper; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by husband, Charles Lee; parents, Survie & Loyce Muller; daughter-in-law, Kathy Parsons; son-in-law, Scottie Roper and granddaughter, Amanda Parsons; siblings, Robert Muller, Jimmie Muller, Mary Burgess, Sandra Voyles & Barbara McGilvray.
A visitation will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Meador Funeral Home Chapel, 1204 E. California Street, Gainesville, Texas. The funeral service will begin following the visitation at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Gainesville, Texas with Brother Hollis Parsons.
