In 1983, James married the love of his life, Brenda L. Gailey. Together, they shared 43 years of marriage, building a life centered around family, hard work, love, and countless memories. Brenda was his devoted wife and lifelong companion.
James was a hardworking man who took great pride in his work and in providing for his family. He worked for more than 20 years at Enderby Gas before retiring. Anyone who knew James would agree that he was one of the hardest-working men they had ever met. He worked hard his entire life and never hesitated to do what needed to be done.
James also had a special place in his heart for his furry friends especially his Pomeranian Sprinkles aka Sprinkler. He loved animals and enjoyed the companionship and unconditional love they brought into his life.
James will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 43 years, Brenda L. Gailey; his stepdaughter, Angela Butcher; his daughters, Tina Aluyan and her husband, John, and Brenda Duran and her husband, Robert; his 12 grandchildren, Britni and Matias Garcia, Alyssa Butcher, Mackenzi “Sis” Butcher, Barry “Buddy” Butcher, Brady Butcher, Jonathon Aluyan, Jordan Aluyan, Elijah Duran, Isaac Duran, Robert “Aden” Duran, Dominik Duran, and Brinlee Duran; and his four great-grandchildren, Jos, Gia, Addi, Legend and baby Marco.
James leaves behind a family who loved him deeply and who will forever cherish the memories they made with him. His strong work ethic, devotion to his family, love of animals, and the example he set throughout his life will remain a lasting part of his family’s story.
He may be gone from our sight, but the love he gave and the memories he created will live on through his family for generations to come.
Rest peacefully, James. You worked hard all your life. You earned your rest. You will be deeply missed and forever loved.
