Katherine Dale Hubbard

Kathy was born on December 21, 1951 in Greeley, Colorado to Arlene Preston.  She passed away on Friday, August, 14, 2026 peacefully at her home. Kathy was a loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. She married Bennie Hubbard in 1992. She worked for the Arizona Department of Corrections from 1986-1994. Later transferring to Nevada Department of Corrections from 1994-2016 retiring as Lieutenant. Kathy spent her final 3 years close to her son and grandchildren in Whitesboro, Texas She is survived by her husband Bennie Hubbard; her son Jay Wadsworth (Tara), step daughters Demaris Weitzel (Chris), and Kelena Eddins-Wiggins (Douglas). Grandchildren Jared Wadsworth, Jena Wilson (Travis), AJ Wadsworth, Isaac Wadsworth, and Jayse Wadsworth.  Step grandchildren Devin, Cole, Baylee, Amelie, and Chris. Also a great grandson on the way. She is also survived by her siblings Elaine Neilson (Dale), Donald Hill, Ronald Hill (Deb), Jim Hill (Kris), and by many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother Arlene Preston, brother Marty Hill, and her daughter Kimberly Ewertz.
