Lindsey Keith Sprinkle

Lindsey Keith Sprinkle, 65, of Gordonville, Texas, passed away on September 12, 2026. He was born November 11, 1960, in Sherman, Texas, to Burl and Ruby Sprinkle.

Keith was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who took great pride in his family. He believed in showing up for the people he loved, and he was especially proud to be there for his grandchildren. Whether it was attending their activities, spending time together, or simply being a familiar and loving presence in their lives, Keith cherished every moment with them. His grandchildren lovingly called him “Paw-Paw,” a name that reflected the special place he held in their hearts.

Keith spent much of his working life providing for his family. He retired from TASWA in 2025 after 20 years of service. Before that, he worked for many years at LOF in Sherman, Texas, until the plant closed. He was also an active member of the Gordonville Volunteer Fire Dept for 20+ years.

Outside of work, Keith enjoyed the outdoors, camping, traveling, and taking trips with his wife and family. More than anything, though, he enjoyed being with the people he loved. He was a man who led by example, showing his children what it meant to be a good husband, a dependable father, and someone who put family first. The love and dedication he gave his family will continue to live on through the children and grandchildren who were so important to him.

Keith is survived by his children, Amanda Howard and her husband Kevin; Bryan Sprinkle and his wife April; Aimee Burchfield and her husband Jacob; and Alyssa Willis and her husband Jeremy; his grandchildren, Maranda Hughes and Darrion Dailey, Kaitlin and Savanna Howard, Jacobby Roundtree, Alex Sprinkle, Chelsie, Abbie, and Rubie Burchfield, and Raylan and Jensen Willis; and his great-grandchildren, Cameron and Kamiree Hughes, and baby boy Dailey.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Burl and Ruby Sprinkle, and his wife, Vicki Sprinkle.

Keith leaves behind a family who will miss his presence deeply, but who will carry with them the memories he helped create, the lessons he taught by example, and the love he gave so freely. His greatest legacy will always be his family and the lives he touched simply by being there.
