Lois O’Mealia, 96 of Arlington, Texas passed away on May 8, 2026. She was born on December 29, 1929 in Legate, Oklahoma to Arthur Clyde and Tommye Alta Holder. Lois was a member of the First Baptist Church in Thackerville, OK where she resided in the community since 1951 until she moved to Arlington in 2015.
Lois is survived by her son, Donald O’Mealia and wife, Linda of Irving, TX; granddaughter, Jennifer Taylor (Matthew); grandson, Jeremy O’Mealia (Alicia); grandchildren Kimber Taylor, Remington Taylor, Lia O’Mealia and Cora O’Mealia; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by sisters, Pauline Love, Theda Peterson, Molene Wingfield; brothers, Granville Holder, Royce Holder, A.C. Holder, Eugene Holder.
Graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, 11:00am at Fairview Cemetery Pavillion, Gainesville, Texas.
