April 15, 1968 -  March 23, 2017  Nolan LeRoy Cloer, 48, passed away March 23, 2017 at his residence in Gainesville. He was born in Gainesville, Texas on April 15, 1968, the only son of Lee Roy and Dolores (Nolan) Cloer. Nolan worked as a practical nurse until health issues forced his retirement. No Services are scheduled at this time. Cremation is under the direction of Meador Funeral Home, Gainesville. Survivors include his mother, Dolores Cloer of Gainesville; son, Brodie Cloer of Nocona; aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Lee Roy Cloer.

    I will forever miss not being able to know you Nolan. We were a town apart and I barely knew your name. I knew your face but you as a person I was not given the chance to know. I regret the distance there was between our fathers hearts. Quarrels were the death of the chance of our being family who knew each other. Forgive me for not taking the initiative to find you and get to know you once I was able to make my owne choices. I will always love you no matter.. my heart works different than not allowing you to live there now at least in my memory of your existence. Rest my cousin rest

  2. I can’t believe it’s been almost 10 years since you past Nolan. You had me laughing so hard since 6th grade band. 80s shenanigans – throwing crab apples, walking in a thunderstorm, Sand Lake Park band competitions, kissing contest at a party. You left too soon my friend. Thinking of you!
