Patricia Ann Green - Landes

Patricia Ann Landes, 87, of Plano, Texas, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, July 10, 2026.

Patricia was born on August 5, 1938, in McKinney, Texas, to Alton and Mattie (Davis) Green. She attended Westminster High School and later worked for Owens Sausage Company, where she dedicated more than 20 years of service.

Patricia found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved tending to her plants, feeding and watching birds, quilting, and spending cherished time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was known for beginning each day with a good cup of coffee and a piece of chocolate.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Schmitt and husband Curtis of Plano; sons, Wade Landes and wife Toni of Decatur, and Bryan Landes of Runaway Bay; son-in-law, James Mckeever of McKinney; sisters, Leona Beaumont and husband Billy of Bells, Sonya Frazier of McKinney, Sandra Ryon of McKinney, and Joyce Hawkins and husband George of Sherman; brothers, James Green of Wylie and Jerry Green and wife Hannah of Gordonville; eight grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Alton and Mattie Green; daughter, Rita Mckeever; brothers, Oliver Green and Tommy Green; and sister, Judy Green Waingart.

Patricia will be remembered for her loving heart, her devotion to family, and the warmth she shared with everyone who knew her.
