Resided in: Whitesboro, Texas

Paula Gail McCutcheon, 69, of Whitesboro, Texas, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 18, 2026. She was born on November 11, 1956, to Carl Benard Mullennix and Marion Lee (Fuller) Mullennix.

Paula was a proud 1975 graduate of Whitesboro High School. She dedicated 30 years of her career to Texas Instruments before retiring. She later retired from WinStar Casinos and, always one to stay busy, had been working at Brookshire Brothers for the past three years.

Paula was a woman who found joy in the simple things that made life special. She loved dancing, traveling, spending time with her grandchildren, and attending church. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she was a longtime member of Legacy Pointe Baptist Church in Whitesboro. Above all, Paula treasured her family and the time she was able to share with them. She will be remembered for the love she gave, the memories she created, and the joy she brought to those around her.

Paula is survived by her son, Jeremy Taylor of Whitesboro; daughter, Angelia Richardson and husband, Reyse, of Bowie; granddaughter, Dianne Taylor; grandsons, Triston Taylor and Jason Taylor; half-brother, Bobby Baker; uncle, Joe Fuller and wife, Linda; and aunt, Gloria West.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Marion Mullennix, and her brother, Billy Don Mullennix.

Funeral services honoring Paula will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Legacy Pointe Baptist Church in Whitesboro, with Rev. Joe Patterson officiating. Interment will follow at Sadler Cemetery. A time of visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Paula’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
