Ruth Margaret Eldredge

September 10, 1920 -  October 27, 2010  SADLER- Funeral services for Ruth Margaret Eldredge, 90, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Sadler United Methodist Church in Sadler, with Rev. John Gowling officiating. Interment will follow at Christian Chapel Cemetery in Sadler. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro. Family visitation will be held from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Friday, October 29, 2010 at the funeral home. Mrs. Eldredge passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 in Denton. Ruth was born on September 10, 1920 in Willow Springs, Texas to White Tap and Lilie (Mooney) Conner. She married Robert Eldredge on October 6, 1941 in Sherman. Ruth was a member of Sadler United Methodist Church and a supporter of Sadler Community Center. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, crossword puzzles, playing dominoes and wahoo board game, and pleasing others. She loved the Texas Rangers. Ruth worked for the Dress Factory in Whitesboro for many years. Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Eldredge of Dubuque, Iowa, 1 granddaughter, 2 great-grandsons and a cat.
